ZaPow! Urban Show Opening Friday June 1
"Urban" is a show of work by Jenny Schultz as featured in New American Paintings.  There will also be a group show featuring ZaPow artists riffing on the same theme. The FREE Art opening will feature live music by Granpappy and the Bruthaship and free local beer from French Broad Brewery! Friday. June 1st from 7pm - 10pm.

We are currently accepting submissions from local and national artists. 
We are looking for narrative, illustrative and playful Pop Art.

How does an artist become a part of ZaPow?
We are a collection of talented artists and writers but we are not a cooperative. We handle the sales for you and take a very small 15% commission. (vs. the typical 50% commission of most galleries). In place of large commissions, we rent spaces to selected artists and encourage them to set up and maintain their space in a way that best suits them. If an artist is not local, we will curate the exhibit at no extra cost. 

In addition to the space that you rent we invite our artists to participate in group shows on our front wall. We are having an opening on Friday March 30, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for our next show Out of This World: Rockets, Robots and Ray Guns. We only take a 15% commission for pieces sold on our front wall. 

We are filling up quickly. The prices and sizes below reflect what is currently available in the gallery. 

2' x 6' - $65 monthly
6' x 3' - $85 monthly
6' x 4'  $115 monthly
6' x 4' end caps  - $125 monthly
6' x  6'  - $150 monthly
6' x 8' - $180 monthly

• We handle all the reporting of taxes on sales, we purchase retail materials to package your art once it is purchased (Cool bags tissue etc.) and most importantly we present your art in a hip and amazing setting.
